Internet Movie Database (IMDB for short) is an incredible repository of pretty much every movie known to humanity (I’ve yet to stump it) with useful information like who directed the film, what actors played in it, and often includes interesting stuff like goofs you can spot while watching it. I ignore most of the reviews, because they are written by users and let’s face it, opinions are like assholes, everyone’s got one, but most people still can’t tell them from their elbows.

Danish band Mew bring together often dreamy, but passionate sounding vocals and edgy instrumentation to claim a sound all their own and it’s a sound your ears will thank you for.

Boys of Scandinavia describe themselves as “Depeche Mode on acid” or indie with gothic and electro influences. I just call it really good rock based dance music. Their 1 EP to date (Kill the Party) is a powerhouse debut and I, for one, am anxiously awaiting a follow up.

Post Secret is a very interesting blogging project that started with one man who decided he would offer people the opportunity to mail in their secrets on a homemade post card anonymously. Frank would post these secrets on his blog for all too see. It has become so popular that 2 Post Secret books have been published so far and an exhibit has been touring the world of various people’s secrets. The site updates every Sunday.

Reuters is a news site that focuses primarily on AP articles. It has a pretty centrist take on world events and has a very amusing Oddly Enough section with articles about odd news cases from around the world.
